1. Who we are

KAiZAI LLC is the data controller for personal data processed through these sites.

2. What we collect

Information you give us directly

• Email address when you sign up for product updates through a form on our site.
• Billing details if you purchase a subscription. These are collected and processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store card numbers.
• Anything you send us in an email or support message.

Information collected automatically

• Standard technical data from your browser: IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps. This is logged at our edge by Cloudflare for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis.
• Essential cookies set by Cloudflare for bot management and session integrity. We do not currently run analytics or advertising cookies.

3. How we use it

• Send you the product updates you asked for when you signed up.
• Deliver and support the service if you become a customer (billing, account management, support replies).
• Protect our sites against abuse, fraud, and attack.
• Improve the product based on aggregate, non-identifying usage data.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

4. Legal bases (UK, EU, EEA)

• Consent for marketing emails. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message we send, or by emailing us.
• Performance of a contract when processing a purchase or providing the service you bought.
• Legitimate interests for site security, fraud prevention, and basic service operation. You can object to processing under legitimate interest, see your rights below.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small number of vetted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare (United States): hosting, CDN, edge security.
• Loops (United States): email capture and marketing email delivery.
• Stripe (United States): payment processing and subscription management.

We may also disclose data when legally required, for example in response to a valid court order, or to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

Our service providers are primarily US-based. When we transfer personal data from the UK, EU, or EEA to the United States, we rely on the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses and related safeguards as the transfer mechanism.

7. Retention

• Signup emails are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Billing records are retained as long as legally required, typically seven years in the United States.
• Server and edge logs are retained briefly (days to weeks) for security diagnostics and then discarded or anonymized.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (right to erasure).
• Port your data to another service.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use standard industry practices to protect data in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. If you have an account with us, we will also email you.
