We didn't plan to start a company.
Every IT instinct said: “this should already exist.” It didn't.
KAiZAI is what we built when the vendor list came up empty.
The story
We've seen this movie before.
Our team has spent careers running IT. We've watched the same arc play out a dozen times. Shadow tools sneak in. IT scrambles. A governance platform eventually shows up, things calm down. Email had it. SaaS had it. Endpoint deployment had it.
Then AI agents arrived, and we figured the cycle would repeat. We went looking for the governance layer. It didn't exist. Just standalone apps, personal API keys, and prompts no one could see, much less audit.
So we built it. KAiZAI is the platform we wanted to buy and couldn't.
What we believe
Three things, in plain English.
IT tools should make our jobs easier, not harder.
This is more difficult to achieve than everyone thinks… wait, no, it's not. Make good products that people want to buy. Plain and simple.
The price needs to be the price.
Speaking of price: the price should be the price. If the price you list isn't actually the price you charge, why list a price? We don't do that 50%-off-for-three-months-then-snap-the-price-back-up-only-to-drop-the-price-when-you-call-to-cancel-the-price thing. That's not a price. That's a hostage situation. The price on the pricing page is the price on your invoice. Same price, every month, until you decide to stop paying that price.
Special place in hell.
There's a special place in hell for companies that auto-renew your subscription because you forgot to cancel a trial before it ended. No games, no tricks. If you don't sign up after your trial, you're gonna have some downtime on your new favorite tool.
